About The Seeded.Com

Birth:

The Seeded.Com was created on May 28, 2007, and is a purely fanbased domain dedicated to the five who possess the SEED Factor in the Gundam Seed & Gundam Seed Destiny Universe: Kira Yamato, Athrun Zala, Cagalli Yula Athha, Lacus Clyne, and Shinn Asuka. The layout was created by me with the use of Notepad and Paint Shop Pro 9. This website is meant to highlight the known SEEDS and their roles as those who possess the ability to change destiny. Each character has their own section with a basic profile, their record or complete account of their roles throughout the series, their relationships, quotes, images, and much more, ecpecially to come. This site was also created for fanwork, particularly fanart for anyone who would love to show their talent to the world. I would love to host your work with full credit to you. As far as fanfiction goes, I am exploring that option.

The Seeded.Com is run by two, and only two, young webmistresses. We are both new at this, so if there is anything that you may see us doing wrong, please let us know. AsuCaga11 and I don't mind criticism and advice. We geniunely want to develop our site properly and not cross any lines. Also, we are both very busy college students, so I can't help anyone with building a website. I really would love to help, I always do, but this year is particularly important for me, and for AsuCaga11 as well. I highly recommend EchoEcho or W3Schools if you really want to learn. I have only been doing this for a couple months and feel very confident, so don't give up!!!

Why The Seeds?

AsuCaga11 and I originally wanted to dedicate a website to our favorite anime couples: Athrun & Cagalli and Kira & Lacus, but we wanted to create something a little different than a shrine dedicated to their romantic relationships. There are plenty of beautiful websites out there that already do an amazing job doing that. We tossed several ideas around and realized that an important aspect in the Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny Universe is rarely mentioned and hardly ever emphasized, at least to our knowledge: the SEED Factor. We settled on it and have set out to base our site around the SEED Factor and most importantly, those who possess it. We both believe the five main characters of the Gundam Seed/Destiny Universe are all very remarkable in their own way. Each has a journey, a struggle, and the ability to change destiny. Every character within the GS/GSD Universe deserves a light, but we really wanted to focus on the five, especially when there is just too many amazing characters to cover!! Not to mention, within the series, the SEED Factor is always highlighted, but yet, it remains a mystery. So little is actually known about it, and the characters themselves don't seem to know much about it other than it enhances their perceptions and abilities. So, we wanted to give it the attention it deserves and try to unravel the mystery itself. That is pretty much our reasoning behind the idea of The Seeded.Com.

The Seeded.Com Version 2.0, created and maintained by Whitney Erin 'WolfCry'and Brittany Nicole 'AsuCaga11', is purely fan based. The characters, plot, and anything else applicable to the original series Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny rightfully belong to their respective creators: Bandai & Sunrise, and Yoshiyuki Tomino & Hajime Yatate.
