Personality: Lacus has a gentle, healing nature. She is very nurturing to anyone she comes across, especially Kira and the orphanage children. Although, at first, she seemed a little niave, she is actually incredibly intelligent. She often helps others, like Kira, Athrun, and Cagalli, to get back to where they originally wanted to go. Throughout Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, she has acted like a guide, always supplying advice and new mobile suits to Kira and Athrun whenever needed.

Relationships: Originally, Lacus's strongest relationship was with Athrun, at the time, her fiancee. However, as time progressed, Lacus and Athrun grew apart, and Lacus fell for Kira's kind spirit and his enduring will to save others. She risked her own reputation and life to give Kira Zaft's newest mobile suit, proving how much she admired him. Near the end of the first war and throughout the second war, she stayed by Kira's side, and the two end up extremely close. As far as Athrun, Lacus seems to love him like a brother. Cagalli, Lacus often treats like she is already a sister, helping her see things for what they really are and encouraging her to keep fighting for what she believes in. Lacus also feels somewhat responsible for Meer, a highly devoted fan who wanted to be everything she was. She knew Meer was being manupulated and tried to save her, but in the end, couldn't.

SEED Mode: Many don't believe that Lacus can actually SEED, but she can. She seems to have a different form of the SEED however, because not once do you see her SEED actually burst. One moment, she's normal, and the next, when she becomes most passionate in what they are all fighting for, she SEEDS. This is usually during a speech or when Kira is in the most danger. Little else is known about Lacus's SEED Factor, although some speculate that her SEED would burst if she were to ever to combat in a mobile suit.
